“We've never tried something like staying in a revamped RV and really enjoyed the experience. Luci was a great host who was always very quick to answer any questions we had and went out of her way to add to the experience (art, amenities in the RV, books). Otherwise, the bed was larger and more comfortable than what we have a home and the AC worked great. This place is a great addition to my favorite town in the state.”

“The grounds are super close to town, well kept, equipped with all the amenities you'd have at a hotel... and stylish to boot. I was also surprised by how large and comfy our bed was. In sum, it's a quintessential vintage camping experience, but a little better because Luci and Phillip are graciously accommodating. I'd recommend it to anyone.”

“If you are looking for a different type of place to stay when you are visiting Hico, I recommend Off the Vine! What a fun experience and even more fun because Luci and Phillip are such friendly and welcoming hosts! I never felt like I wasn't a part of the family! The campfire was a total blast and it's such a great way to get to know the people staying at the park. The trailers are all so cute, and have been expertly decorated. No detail has been spared--comfy chairs and grills on decks outside each one (and even bug spray is provided!) A free wine tasting at the local winery downtown is also a very nice touch! They have great plans to keep improving the park, so it will just keep getting better. I look forward to my next visit!”

“Luci and Philip were perfect hosts right down to the personalized welcome sign. We rented two trailers the Dude and the Sue Ellen both were extremely comfortable with luxurious linens, bedding and bath robes. They have thought of everything including a late night snack and sparkling water. Luci even sent me directions on the French press coffee maker just in case I needed. Both were super helpful with dinner suggestions and local flavor. We feel like we made new friends.”

“My dog and I has SUCH a wonderful stay here. Everything was just perfect. We stayed in The Dude, which is super comfortable and cute. I loved the plants that were put in there:) I am very eager to return. There’s also a cute place to have a nice little bonfire too, which is obviously great for camping! Thanks to Luci, I’m also now super into French presses. Delicious! Thanks for a wonderful stay!”
